Success Journey of Naturals Icecream

Raghunandan Kamath failed his board exams twice and was sent to work at his brother’s South Indian eatery, where he began selling homemade ice cream. He wanted to offer customers unique flavors beyond the typical chocolate and vanilla, so he started making ice cream with real fruit pulp.

After his brother’s restaurant split, Raghunandan used some of the money he received to start his own business. He opened a small shop in Mumbai’s Juhu Koliwada area, with just 200 square feet of space and six tables. He continued to focus on original fruit flavors and worked hard to build his brand.

Raghunandan’s story is an inspiration for anyone looking to start a successful business. You don’t need a degree, just hard work, good instincts, and a willingness to learn. Today, Naturals has 135 outlets in cities across India and generated a turnover of Rs 300 crore in 2020. The brand has also been recognized for providing excellent customer experiences, being listed in the top 10 brands in the 2021 KPMG survey. Raghunandan Kamath, the ice cream man, deserves all the kudos he gets!
